We include 3" Crown Style Valances on all of our 2 and 2-1/2" blinds. The Valances will be in matching color and materials to the blinds purchased. The primary difference in Inside case, Outside case and Shallow Inside mount blinds is the configuration of the valance and factory reductions to the slats and headrail.

For outside mount blinds, the finished unit will be the exact dimensions you enter. Inside and Shallow mount blinds will have the headrail and slats reduced to allow for proper mount and operation within the opening. This also will insure that the blinds will fit into our brackets. It is critical that we know the exact opening dimensions for this method so that we can make the Valance fully cover the opening while allowing easy installation. For shallow mount blinds, those with less than 3" window case depth, we will also need the case depth. This provides us with the needed information to make the valance return toward the wall at the correct length. The wrap around portion of the valance is call the Valance Return.
